Candace Jenkins is both a writer and a licensed insurance advisor. Holding her licenses in Property & Casualty and Life insurance to which she has been practicing for over a decade. She has worked and advised small to large-sized companies for the majority of her career and recently transitioned her skillset into her other passion, writing. Candace has partnered with independent insurance agencies on a local and national scale.
During her time with us, Chris has researched and written about many types of insurance, including home, auto, flood, farm and ranch, liability and umbrella insurance. She joined our team in the beginning of 2018. Chris has been writing since childhood, and holds a B.A. in journalism from Hood College. She’s also passionate about ‘80s movies, the Legend of Zelda series, and her cats.

She holds a Journalism degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and the only thing she’s more passionate about than writing is her love for good food and animals.
Jeff Green has held a variety of sales and management roles at life insurance companies, Wall street firms, and distribution organizations over his 40-year career. He was previously Finra 7,24,66 registered and held life insurance licenses in multiple states. He is a graduate of Stony Brook University. Jeff is happily “unretired” in Southwest Florida and is a freelance insurance writer and expert.
